Global Spay Neuter Campaign

Research Links - we're building, pl be patient

We've researched Human Global Population to demonstrate the rising levels of people on the planet.
In doing this, we want to emphasize the maturing population who also acquires pets, permitting them to breed and elevating the numbers of unwanted births.
Conflicting numbers from SPCA's, Humane Society's, Animal Control Facilities and Rescues concerning statistics, clearly promote the lack of control we have over animal population concerns.

In 1975, there was an estimated 4 billion people on the planet.
In 2009, there was an estimated 6.5 Billion people on the planet.

North America alone covers a vast percentage of this population, with a potential growth rate that will exceed older, established continents that are now more limited to space/land/property.

Part of the campaign is based on world human population in comparison to “known” companion animal population – the statistics are alarming. Pl NOTE that N. America is not included in these stats – imagine if they were!!

We do not fully endorse Mandatory Spay Neuter laws. The base of the campaign, centers on the issues and the actual act of breeding, along with the expanding numbers that are bred due to the lack of responsible pet ownership and breeding animals as a product for monetary gains.....
